We don't have to sacrifice what we love about where we live!

home_kai_smallGreetings. Thank you for visiting the website for the campaign to elect Kai Hagen to the Frederick County Board of County Commissioners.

You'll find a lot of information in various sections of the site, and we'll continue to add more until election day. Please take a look around, and visit again, to read about the issues that matter to the people of Frederick County, about the campaign, and about Kai.

It may be an overused cliche, but Frederick County is truly at a crossroads. If you care about the future of our county - our communities, our home - and you believe, as we do, that we can do a much better job dealing with the persistent challenges associated with growth and development, then we hope you will support Kai.

One way to find out about what Kai thinks about a range of local/regional issues – and how he approaches them – is to read some of the columns he wrote for the Frederick News Post and the Gazette over a three year period prior to his decision to run for the Board of County Commissioners.

You can also read what some of your Frederick County neighbors have to say about Kai on this page.

There are a lot of things involved in putting together an effective campaign for a county-wide election, but none will be more important in this campaign than the efforts of many volunteers, working together to make a difference that matters. We are extremely grateful to the many people who have already helped in so many ways. Please visit our volunteer page to see how you can help.

We hope you will choose to get actively involved!

He is thoughtful and intelligent. He has worked in the county system and understands how government can succeed. Kai wants the best for...
