Frederick, MDKai Hagen is exactly the kind of person we need on the Frederick County Board of County Commissioners. He's smart, articulate, honest, and knows the issues in Frederick County like the back of his hand. Most importantly, Kai is deeply committed to making the county the best place it can be because he intends to live here with his family for the rest of his life. He's sincerely concerned about the issues that could have a serious impact on all of us, particularly poorly planned development, which is currently threatening to overwhelm our roads, our schools, our farmland and green spaces, and our quality of life. We desperately need Kai Hagen, and several others like him, elected in 2006, before another group of developer- funded commissioners finishes the job of paving over the entire county.

I am voting for Kai Hagen for Frederick County Commissioner, and I urge you to do the same.
I met Kai, with his laptop, sitting at a table in the 7th Street Starbucks about a year ago. This serves as one of his offices when he's in the city to attend a public meeting or hearing. He has been a near-constant presence at these public meetings and hearings, fighting the good fight to promote more responsible and sustainable development,...
