I haven't known Kai personally for long, but I often read his columns in the Gazette and his commentary in the FRAN news. I've been impressed with his knowledge, and his dedication and commitment to Frederick County and its citizens. I'm also impressed with his ability to listen and to ask questions of those around him and those he meets along the way. His knowledge of the issues and attention to detail are as notable as is his ability to look at the bigger picture. I believe electing Kai Hagen to the Board of County Commissioners is possibly one of the best things that could be done for the future of our community. I look forward to casting my vote for Kai in this important election.

I want Kai Hagen on the Frederick Board of County Commissioners for two simple reasons. First, I see the commissioner's role is a very important factor in what life will be like for me here in ten years.
