FrederickAnyone who's read Kai's columns in the Gazette, the Frederick News-Post and elsewhere knows he's good at expressing on paper his commitment to the environment and to the future of Frederick County. But Kai's reality is so much more than writing what he believes (although he does that well) -- Kai LIVES his commitments, and that's a big reason why I support him and why I'll vote for him to join the Frederick County Board of Commissioners. Kai is honest; he's trustworthy, and he values and respects the rights and well-being of the people in our county. Kai's enthusiasm for the future of this community is infectious. He is warm, engaging and smart. Kai is committed to preserving the integrity of the land and to seeking creative solutions to the challenges we face, including over-zealous developers and and the unfortunate politicians who bend to them. Kai does not stop at easy solutions; he searches for the best answers, and delves until he finds them. I want a clean, healthy, vibrant community for my children to grow up in, and I can think of no one I'd sooner vote to represent their best interests than Kai Hagen.
