I used to be just like a lot (if not the majority) of residents in
Frederick County - I lived in my own little bubble, busy with work,
taking care of my home and family...... Until the day that several
utility companies decided they wanted to build power plants in
Frederick County. Since one of these proposed sites was literally
within view from my back deck - I became a 'community activist'
overnight. My life changed, and my little "bubble" grew to include all
of Frederick County. Because of this, I have been priviledged to meet
and befriend some fantastic people around the County who share my
views, concerns, and goals for our greater community. Kai Hagen is one
of those people. I have known Kai for several years, and consider him a
VERY capable candidate. I am actively supporting Kai's campaign, and
encourage you to do the same. With the numerous issues facing our
region, we (the voters) need to take control of who we want in office
making decisions that directly effect our lives. We need to join
together and not allow the deep-pocket developer organizations and
their 'friends' to manipulate our future.
Please, do yourselves and your neighbors the favor of joining me in
voting for Kai Hagen. If there's anything I've learned through my
experiences, your vote and your voice DO make a difference. See you at

WHY I"M VOTING FOR KAI!

I want Kai Hagen on the Frederick Board of County Commissioners for two simple reasons. First, I see the commissioner's role is a very important factor in what life will be like for me here in ten years.
