Mt. Airy Candidate's Forum for Frederick County Commissioner Candidates
Location: Mt. Airy Volunteer Fire Company Activities Building
WHAT: Mt. Airy Council President Dave Pyatt invites you to attend the Mt. Airy Forum for Frederick County Commissioner candidates on Thursday, August 10th from 8:00pm until 9:30pm. The forum will be nonpartisan and will be held at the Mt. Airy Volunteer Fire Company Activities Building. The forum will focus on key issues affecting the Mt. Airy region but allow for brief introductions and conclusions. With 18 candidates, we will not be able to allow extensive comments from any one candidate though we do hope that you can join us to hear about each of the candidate's basic platforms, goals, and vision for Frederick County.
DIRECTIONS: The Mt. Airy Volunteer Fire Company Activities Building is located at the Carnival Grounds in Mt. Airy. From Frederick, take I-70 East towards Mt. Airy. Take the exit for Rt. 27. Turn left at the end of the ramp and head towards Mt. Airy. The carnival grounds are located on Twin Arch Road across from the Weiss Shopping Center on Rt. 27.
